Food Security
Hunger limits opportunities for health, education, and growth, leaving families vulnerable to ongoing hardship. We support food security through supply and food drives that ensure communities have the nourishment they need.
Even decades after the Vietnam War, many communities still face food insecurity. When we learned how deeply these struggles persisted, we wanted to do more than just witness them — we wanted to take part in delivering sustainable access to nutrition.
With the help of Hội Người Mù Tây Ninh, a local nonprofit that serves the blind community, the elderly and disabled, and populations affected by Agent Orange, Together, we organized a food drive to support those most in need. We purchased and packaged staple foods such as rice, noodles, ramen, soy sauce, into care packages. Our team helped with transportation so everyone, including those with mobility challenges, could access the drive.
We handed out notices in advance, but when more people arrived than expected, we realized just how deep the need really was. That moment stayed with us. We took note, reflected, and adjusted our planning to make future drives more inclusive and better prepared.
This experience reminded us that small acts of service, when done with empathy and collaboration, can ripple farther than we ever anticipate.
