Not everyone was able to receive food at our drive, but we didn’t want anyone to be left behind. To make sure support reached as many people as possible, we set aside funds to provide direct financial assistance to families who missed the event. This allowed them to purchase what they needed most — whether that was food, medicine, or supplies for daily life.

We also made a significant donation to Hội Người Mù Tây Ninh, the organization that helped make our food drive possible. Our contribution supported their ongoing programs long after we returned home, ensuring the spirit of the partnership continued.

This part of our trip reminded us that charity isn’t about giving what we think people need — it’s about listening, responding, and empowering communities to take care of themselves.
